Idyllic Honeymoon Experience at Hideaway Each Resort and Spa

The sunset hues from the Hideaway Beach Resort and spa water villa

We have just returned from our honeymoon from the most amazing, life escaping, de-stressing, do-little vacation, courtesy of Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa.

To “hideaway” was exactly our goal and that is exactly what we did. We were very impressed with the attention given from our arrival to our departure. The resort is a well-oiled machine to make your stay as effortless as possible.

It took 70 minutes by seaplane from Male’ airport to the resort. The island is considered big compared to most of other resorts. That gives the chance to have very specious villas and all villas with private pools. Afrah was our butler and nothing was too much or too little trouble – just a phone call away.  After a tour of the island he showed us to our room, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. We stayed in an amazing deluxe water villa of Hideaway Maldives which was pretty impressive. It would be more impressive to see in person than in the pictures. It was spacious and looked so new. We felt as if we were the first guests to stay in the villa.  We definitely spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or jumping in the ocean for some nearby snorkeling.

The food of Hideaway Beach was quite impressive. We had a Half-baord package and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner which was included at two of the island’s restaurants. Even though they were a bit costly we really enjoyed the food and overall it was good.

We were expecting Hideaway Maldives to be crowded but we never felt that way. We went to snorkeling and it was spectacular sight to see. It’s well worth heading out of the island for an excursion snorkel – particularly the Turtle discovery tour where we spotted and swam with 4 turtles and on our way back to the island was joined by a pod of dolphins who put on a spectacular impromptu show. We participated in some activities and it was really good.

Overall I must say we have loved our honeymoon in Hideaway Maldives.
