Kuredu Maldives – Honeymoon destination in paradise
Our honeymoon in Kuredu Maldives has been one of the most amazing honeymoons destinations we have ever been to. Everything was perfect and there is nothing I would say should to correct. We arrived on Kuredu Maldives on January 15, 2016 to be greeted by a welcome from the staffs and bongo drum beats. We were given lovely cool drinks as we waited to be checked in and shown to our accommodation.
The accommodation we stayed on the Kuredu is a bit varied. We found the best location from the resort. We stayed at a lovely water villa (No. 325). We had direct access to the ocean which we loved every bit of it. It exceeded all our expectations. The first thing we ever saw was the stunning views of the ocean from the patio door. You go down another level when you are lead to a vast sun deck with daybeds. The four poster bed king sized bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. You can also take a shower while looking at the ocean.
All of the staffs of the resort were very helpful and friendly. Our house boy greeted us as we left to go to the restaurant introduced himself as Asraf, who then went on to cater for our every need. He knew that we went for breakfast every morning at 8am and was there to clean our room. Asraf also came in the evening, cleaned the room again and turned down the bed. When we went for the first time to the Sangu restaurant we were met by Ahoo, who was our waiter for the two weeks. We cannot thank Ahoo enough, for making our stay so memorable. As soon as our glasses were empty, two more rose wines would be there. .The food was amazing. There is a different theme every night, personal favorite Sri-Lankan. Our waiter Ahoo went home to his family for two nights and we were assigned Asim as our waiter, another absolutely lovely man, who knew our names and what we liked. The main highlight of our honeymoon was snorkeling and seeing the best house reefs of all. We saw many marine lives. It was so beautiful. And also we loved having a spectacular dinner in the sand bank of the island. I could go on and on, but all I can say is, we have been to holiday destinations all over the world but this is the BEST BY FAR.
